In the wood

I have a notebook of diagrams that could possibly solve the clues, most of which will just be side trips once I’ve closed in on the correct one.  In which case, we’ll be hitting the road in the morning!

Obviously, the scathingly brilliant solution won’t get posted until the treasure is in someone’s (my?) hands…….

PS:  The notebook is hidden, not necessarily buried.  Listen good.  You’d have to be brave and in the wood, and up the creek without a paddle to get within 500 feet of it.
