Random Ramblings of a guy named Ricky
It reminds me of my fishing technique when I was 10.
First – wait for a fish to bite. Second, yank the rod overhead and wrap the line, fish attached, around the nearest tree branch. Last, scramble around in the crick trying to catch the fish after it dislodges itself for the hook and makes like a bandit for open water.
Only thing is, I was always bareheaded. Hats don’t stay on long for this type of exercise, especially when the fish generally lets go about the time the hook whizzes overhead, taking headgear, scalp and eyebrows along with it.
Ouch!
